Welcome to the Bury Grammar School Alumni Community website.
Our School has seen thousands of young people pass through its walls and take away with them fond memories of their school days. It is a privilege to share Bury Grammar pupils' journey with them and to see them flourish, form long-lasting friendships and experience life changing moments. You will no doubt be one of them.
We hope you enjoy visiting our website, sharing memories from other eras but also seeing snapshots of your School as it is today. While time moves on, Bury Grammar pupils remain very much the same in essence: the sound of school bells, music, chatter and laughter can be heard every single day at BGS.
Any new visitor to Bury Grammar School will remark upon our School's unique character: the friendliness, high standards, humour and down-to-earth approach. They also invariably comment upon our pupils' and teachers' pride in the School's history; this means a lot to them.
Do take a few moments out of your busy days, have a good look around the website, relish those school day memories...and tell us about them if you get the chance!
You might even want to take a further step and come and visit us in person. We are always delighted to see Old Boys and Old Girls back at Bury Grammar School. While much may well have changed in the intervening years, the most important things remain the same: a belief in the power of education to change lives and the importance of making every day count.
Your School is in good heart.

A very warm welcome to the Bury Grammar School Alumni Community website.
We have been privileged to accompany you on your journey through Bury Grammar School and have been very proud to share your achievements.
We want to maintain strong bonds with our alumni and hope you will share stories about your experiences at Bury Grammar School that helped shaped the person you are today, your important life events and adventures, and continue to share your successes with us.
Being part of the Bury Grammar School Alumni Community not only offers the opportunity to connect, engage and support one another but will inspire our current students to thrive and achieve as they embark on their own life’s paths.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Mr Devin Cassidy
We are delighted to launch the BGS Alumni Community. We very much hope you enjoy using it and it becomes a valuable resource for you, whether that is to stay in touch with BGS or with one another.
It is quite possible that your friends are unaware as we do not have everyone's contact details - we would greatly appreciate it if you shared the link with your peers and get them to have a look and sign up.
Going forward, new content, opportunities and events will be communicated through the BGS Alumni Community.
Your feedback about the website would be greatly appreciated - what works, what might need changing and any new ideas - it is all welcome.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Development Team about anything and better still, when circumstances allow, we hope to see you back at Bury Grammar School.
