It was wonderful to hear that Old Girl Soraya Mafi, an acclaimed Soprano and graduate of both the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal College of Music, has made her house and role debut as Morgana in Alcina at the Glyndebourne Festival. This is the festival's first-ever production of Handel's magical fable, and has been named Glyndebourne Encore‘s 'Opera of the Month' for September 2022.
