On behalf of Old Boy Chris Babbs (Class of 1976) and current Chairman of the Bury Choral Society, we would like to extend a warm invitation to BGS Alumni and Friends to attend a concert in Memory of John Edwards, which will be a celebration of John’s musical life.
John Edwards, former Head of Music at BGS, died earlier this year. John was also the Music Director of Bury Choral Society (BCS) for 39 years until retiring in 2007.
This will be on Tuesday 8th November 2022 at 7.30pm at Bury Parish Church.
Tickets are £12 or £6 for students and the programme will include a selection from the Mass in B Minor and St Matthew Passion by Bach, organ music and The Music Makers by Elgar.
