We are looking forward to Jay's performance as Lensky at Preston Opera's 2023 production of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, at Fulwood Academy, Thursday 1 June, Friday 2 June and Sunday 4 June.
Jay is currently in his third year at the Royal Northern College of Music, a tenor, Jay is delighted to be making his opera debut as Lensky with Preston Opera. Studying under Matthew Best, Jay has performed a number of small roles and chorus including: Fracasso (La finta semplice), Che (Evita), Preacher (Bernstein’s Mass), Le nozze di Figaro & Die Fledermaus. Jay’s future engagements include: Ferrando (Così fan tutte), RNCM Opera Gala, La roi de Lahore (Dorset Opera) & Le nozze di Figaro (Dorset Opera). Jay has also sung tenor solo in Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem.
