Congratulations to Old Girl Emily who graduated from The University of Law, Manchester in November 2023, achieving the Bar Practice Course LLM pro bono with Distinction. 

Emily was also Called to the Bar in England and Wales by The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in London, and is now a published barrister.

Since June 2023, Emily has been working as a paralegal at a criminal law firm, Mary Monson Solicitors in Salford, her responsibilities include managing her own case load, advising clients on the evidence, attending court and representing and advising clients at police station interviews. 

Emily plans to apply for pupillage at a barrister’s chambers in the upcoming round.
