Helen left BGS in 2015 and qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2020. She began her career at the Animal Trust CIC in Blackburn, before moving to Valley Vetcare in Rochdale in 2022. Helen enjoys the variety of general small animal practice and has a particular interest in neurological conditions. In 2023, she began a post-graduate certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, covering a variety of topics including medicine, surgery and diagnostic imaging. In her spare time, Helen plays solo tenor horn with the Wingates Band, enjoying a mixture of contests and concerts in the local area. She also spends time horse riding, and walking with Stan, her cockerpoo.
