It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Old Boy Mark Hargreaves (Class of 1990) who passed away suddenly on March 4th 2022. Mark attended the senior school from 1983 to 1990 before going to Cambridge, where he gained his football Blue in 1994 and completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering in 1999. After working for Unilever for several years Mark decided to follow his true vocation of teaching science. Most recently he was Assistant Head at St Gabriel's in Bury.
Mark was married to Old Girl Sharon Bennett (Class of 1990) and had two children. He touched many young lives during his years of teaching and is sorely missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts are with Mark's family at this incredibly difficult time.
