William Holland passed away at home, in New Hartford, New York, on February 27, 2022.
He was born on October 30, 1938, to William and Lilian (née Parker) Holland. William was married to Vivienne Littlewood on August 27, 1960, in Christ Church, Tintwistle, Cheshire, England. He was educated at Bury Grammar School, and left in 1956, then Manchester University. Bill worked in England for the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (Culcheth) and Rolls-Royce and Associates.
On March 3, 1967, together with daughters, Justine and Fiona, the couple emigrated from England to the United States and settled in New Hartford, New York. There Bill worked for the Bendix Corporation, Homogeneous Metals and Special Metals. He was a co-founder of Anionics, and with his wife, Vivienne, owned and operated The Liquor Loft in Washington Mills.
Bill is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Justine and Richard Hand and Fiona and Rob Henderson; grandchildren, Taylor and Emily Hand and Megan Henderson. He was predeceased by his wife, Vivienne.
