We are very sorry to share with you the sad news that Lindsey Victoria Jayne Jackson (née Hollows, Class of 1981) sadly passed away on 1st November 2021. Lindsey fought a brave and dignified battle with cancer. Lindsey was a pupil at the school from 1974 to 1981. She loved the musical opportunities; particularly singing and performing with the school choir. Lindsey married in 1985 and lived in Ulverston, Cumbria. She was a successful and much-loved primary school teacher in the town. She also loved acting and singing with Ulverston Opera and other local societies. Lindsey leaves her loving husband Steve, mother Pam and brother Shaun (a former pupil of the Boys' Grammar). A recent fundraising event organised by friends raised over £4000 for Target Ovarian Cancer.
