It is with regret that we inform you of the passing of Old Boy, John Riggs (Class of 1960).
John was a member of the Old Clavian’s Golf Society and lived in Bury until December 2022 when he moved to Nottingham to be near his eldest daughter and BGS Old Girl, Rachel Riggs (Class of 1990). He passed peacefully surrounded by family, and will leave a huge hole in their lives.
For those wishing to pay their respects, a funeral service will be held at 1.15pm on 18th July at Walmersley church.
Our thoughts are with John's family and friends at this difficult time.
