It is with regret that we inform you of the passing of Old Boy, Bill Smail (Class of 1963).
Bill passed away on 28th July 2024. He graduated in chemistry before gaining a PHD at UCL and Manchester Universities and enjoyed a successful career in the oil and gas industry, working for ExxonMobil and B.G Group around the world in senior executive gas positions. He lived in Bromley with his wife Jane, whom he married in 1972, and leaves her and their two daughters, Laura and Clare.
Bill will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and old classmates.
Our thoughts are with Bill's family and friends at this difficult time.
