It is with regret that we inform you of the passing of Old Girl, Julie Collins (Class of 1968).
Julie passed away peacefully on the afternoon of 10 August 2024. She attended Bury Grammar School followed by the London School of Economics, subsequently earning a teaching certificate and first-class honours degree. Julie taught at several local schools, including Littleborough County Primary and Moorhouse (Milnrow) before retiring.
She leaves behind her partner, Guy, two sons (Mick and Chris), two sisters (Bev and Alison), and three grandchildren (Harry, Jack, and Kate).
Our thoughts are with Julie's family and friends at this difficult time.
