It is with regret that we inform you of the passing of Old Girl, Joan Gethin nee Macdonald (Class of 1960).

Joan passed away on 19 August at home in Ceredigion, aged 82 years. Joan was born and brought up in Middleton in 1942. After graduating from Lancashire College of Agriculture, she moved to mid-Wales in the mid-1960s. Beloved and devoted wife of Tudor, much-loved and ever-supportive mother of Richard, Anita, Jacqueline and Carolyn, and fond and respected mother-in-law of Dawn, Donald, Paul and Stuart. Cherished Grannie of Rebecca, Hannah, Tom, Stewart, Phillip, Harri, Adam and Georgia, and delighted Great-Grannie of Siwan, Lewis, Gwennan and Sophia.

Our thoughts are with Joan's family and friends at this difficult time.
