We regret to inform you that Old Girl, Jacqueline West (née Allen) born 26th June 1932 sadly passed on 28th December 2025.
Known to family and friends as Jackie, she started at BGS on 11th September 1941, and after leaving in 1948 she worked at Franks Wallpaper Design in Manchester designing wallpapers; she stopped working after having her first child. She was involved in guiding and was a Brown Owl for many decades.
Our thoughts are with Jacqueline's family and friends.
