Over the past year, Bury Grammar School has raised funds for Village by Village, a community-led organisation that works with children and communities to develop effective, long-term solutions to poverty and injustice in rural Africa. Thanks to the support of our fundraisers, donors, and the incredible work of the Village by Village team, we are thrilled to announce the completion of Parko Junction Junior High School in Ghana.

Fran Dickson, Head of Charities, said: “The school will help transform entire communities for generations to come by breaking the cycle of poverty, improving health outcomes, reducing child labour and early marriage, promoting gender equality, and supporting sustainable development. Together, we will create a brighter future for these children and their communities by supporting Village by Village.”
