We were delighted to welcome back alumna Nina Kemp to speak with our Sixth Form students about her career as an Engineering Geologist.
Since leaving BuryGrammarSchool in 2016, Nina has completed a Bachelor's degree in Geology at University of Liverpool and a Master's degree in Engineering Geology at Newcastle University. She now works at BakerHicks on major UK infrastructure projects.
It was fascinating for our students to hear about the variety of opportunities within geology and engineering, and to learn about Nina’s journey from BGS to a career working on nationally significant projects.
Thank you, Nina, for sharing your journey and inspiring our students as they explore their future careers.
