On Friday 16th September we had the pleasure of hosting our Ladies’ Bursary Lunch at Rochdale Golf Club, and we are delighted that thanks to the incredible generosity of our guests, we managed to raise a fantastic amount for the Bursary Fund!

We would also like to thank our sponsors, Sky Wave Gin (a company which was founded by Old Boy Andrew Parsons, Class of 1986), and Sarah Layton Jewellers, and all our guests who made it such a special afternoon. With a prize tombola, grand auction hosted by the wonderful Tom Finkill (Class of 2002) and fantastic entertainment from Ian Lavin, Close up Magician and Old Boy Jay Broadhurst (Class of 2020). Huge thanks also go to our Bursary Ambassador, former School Captain Laraib Gul Khan (Class of 2014), who spoke so passionately about his experiences and the importance of the BGS Bursary Fund.
